With a deep-rooted passion for supporting women's professional growth, I embarked on my career as an editorial journalist at Nikkei Business Publications, where I extensively covered women's life and career journeys in the renowned "Nikkei Woman" magazine. Driven by a desire to make a tangible impact, I ventured into the world of freelancing as a writer, editor, and career counselor. This journey culminated in the co-founding of "Waris" in 2013, a pioneering human resources company dedicated to fostering diverse lifestyles and workstyles. As Waris's Co-Founder, I lead a team that connects freelance women with meaningful work opportunities, provides reskilling support for career transitions, and facilitates the placement of women into executive and management positions. At the heart of my work lies an unwavering commitment to gender equality, striving to create a society where "everyone can live authentically." This dedication has earned Waris recognition as a member of the Benesse Group, and I have personally received accolades such as the Grand Prize in the 3rd DBJ Women's New Business Plan Competition and acceptance into the APT Women's 4th Generation Program. I am also a certified career consultant and serve as a Director of the General Incorporated Association of Professional & Parallel Career Freelancers.
