Graduated from the School of Commerce at Waseda University. After working at Mitsubishi UFJ Investment Trust, as CEO of Viling Venture Partners from 2014, he made seed investments specialising in the education sector and at the same time founded an entrepreneurial community in the legacy sector, developing it into one of the largest start-up communities in Japan. He then MBO'd the entrepreneurial community in November 2016 and established Protostar Ltd. Experienced in launching numerous businesses, including StartupList, an information search service for entrepreneurs and investors, and established HAKOBUNE in May 2022. Major investments during his time as an educational VC include SiteVisit (EXIT to Freee), ALC Terrace (EXIT to Kokuyo) and Speak Buddy. In the past, he has produced a number of start-ups such as GITAI, Progate, Taskey, STUDIO and PULIT from Entrepreneur House.
