Aya Shimura is the Founder and CEO of A.SHIMUS, a New York–based womenswear brand specializing in elevated workwear for petite professionals. Prior to launching A.SHIMUS, Ms. Shimura earned her MBA from Columbia Business School and later worked in the Investment Banking Group at Barclays Capital. Drawing on her Japanese heritage and finance background, she leads the brand’s mission to carry forward the local craftsmanship to the Next Generation and deliver well tailored and comfortable garments to the modern women around the world.
