She is the President of NY Marketing Business Action, Inc. and serves as a North America Business Expansion Advisor for Japan’s Small and Medium Enterprise Agency. She is also active as a sustainability journalist based in New York.

Prior to becoming independent, she worked for 17 years at the Trade Insurance Department of JETRO New York, an organization affiliated with Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Since founding her own company, she has supported Japanese companies in expanding into the North American market, working closely with certified public accountants and focusing on corporate tax and accounting workflows as a foundation for sustainable business management. Over the past decade, she has assisted more than 80 companies, primarily in the food and beverage, service, and retail sectors, including sales channel development.

She holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the City University of New York. She is a doctoral candidate, ABD, at the United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability. She also serves as a board member of the UN Forum New York and is a member of the Association of Foreign Press Correspondents, also known as Global Press.

Alongside her business advisory work, she researches the SDGs and reports on sustainability initiatives among U.S. companies. Her articles and columns have appeared in the sustainable business magazine Alterna, Japanese-language newspapers in New York, and Asahi Shimbun SDGs Action!

She is the author of “SDGs Transformation and Pivot Strategies Learned from U.S. Companies: Sustainability, the Next Generation, and the Future of Corporate Value,” published by Shinchosha.
