He graduated from the School of Commerce at Waseda University. After working at Mitsubishi UFJ Investment , he became CEO of Viling Venture Partners in 2014, focusing on seed investments in the education sector while also founding an entrepreneur community in legacy industries, which grew to become one of Japan's largest startup communities. Subsequently, in November 2016, he conducted an MBO of the entrepreneur community and established Protostar Inc. He gained experience in launching multiple businesses, including StartupList, an information search service for entrepreneurs and investors. He founded HAKOBUNE in May 2022. Notable investments during the education-focused VC period include SightVisit (exited to freee), Arcterus (exited to Kokuyo), and SpeakBuddy, among others. Previously, helped launch numerous startups from the Entrepreneur House, including GITAI, Progate, Taskey, STUDIO, and PULIT.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
