Takanori Kashino

He is a researcher and entrepreneur whose work focuses on economic sociology and entrepreneurship. His recent research examines harassment against entrepreneurs, and his findings have been cited by media outlets such as NHK and in Cabinet Office documents in Japan.

He is the founder of Eirene Management School, which he established in 2018 after experiencing two business closures and personal bankruptcy. In his educational work, he has developed innovation-related learning materials with more than 170,000 downloads, and more than 7,000 people have participated in his training programs, including employees of major companies such as Panasonic and KDDI, as well as physicians, lawyers, and other professionals.

Originally from Okayama Prefecture, Japan, he holds an MPhil in Innovation, Strategy and Organisation from the University of Cambridge and an MA in the Social Sciences from the University of Chicago. In his personal pro bono work, he has collaborated with a monk in Narus, South Sudan, on a sustainable agriculture project, providing technical support and funding to help address food insecurity and unequal access to education affecting 41 orphans and 637 local residents. He is the author of "The Art of Creative Note-Taking" (SB Creative), a business book published by SB Creative.
